Hi my name is Mary-Anne Cardoso and I started making bears in 1992, when my younger son wanted a Paddington Bear as a Christmas present and one was not available in this country, so I bought a commercial pattern and made him one, I later started to design my own bears and I do various fairs that are available here, but as yet I have not done any overseas fairs, although I hope to in the future when family committments allow it. I have won various awards at our local bear fairs over the years. I make more traditional bears ranging in size from 3inches upwards.
